زمان حال استمراری (Present Continues Tense)، در زبان انگلیسی (English Language)

زمان حال استمراری (Present Continues Tense)، در زبان انگلیسی، برای بیان موقعیت هایی در زمان حال (present situations) است، که به صورت کوتاه مدت (short-term) یا موقتی (temporary) می باشند. برای دانستن تفاوت حال استمراری (present continuous) با حال ساده (present simple)، باید توجه داشته باشید که ما از زمان حال ساده (present simple) برای صحبت در مورد موقعیت هایی در زمان حال (present situations) استفاده می کنیم که آنها را به صورت دراز مدت (long-term) یا دائمی (permanent) ببینیم.

در مثال های زیر، اتفاق (action) مورد نظر، در همان زمان صحبت کردن (time of speaking) رخ داده است :

• It's raining.
• Who is Kate talking to on the phone?
• Look, somebody is trying to steal that man's wallet.
• I'm not looking. My eyes are closed tightly.

در مثال های زیر، رخ دادن اتفاق (action)، در زمان حال (present time) صحیح می باشد، اما فکر نمی کنیم که در دراز مدت، (long term) صحیح باشد :

• I'm looking for a new apartment.
• He's thinking about leaving his job.
• They're considering making an appeal against the judgment.
• Are you getting enough sleep?

در مثال های زیر، کار (action) مورد نظر، در نقطه ای مشخص در آینده (definite point in the future) می باشد و هم اکنون، ترتیب داده شده است (مرتب شده است) :

• I'm meeting her at 6.30.
• They aren't arriving until Tuesday.
• We are having a special dinner at a top restaurant for all the senior managers.
• Isn't he coming to the dinner?
