حروف اضافه (Preposition) در زبان انگلیسی (English Language) را در آموزش زیر شرح دادیم :
یک شیوه دسته بندی برای حروف اضافه (Preposition) به صورت زیر می باشد :
- حروف اضافه ساده (Simple prepositions) (in , on , at , by , for , from , to , with , about)
- حروف اضافه مرکب (Compound/Complex prepositions) (out of , because of , in front of , due to)

حروف اضافه مرکب (Compound/Complex Prepositions) از چند کلمه ساخته می شوند و معمولا دارای معنای دقیق تری می باشند.
