اگر منظورتون متغیر z1 است، خودش تذکر داده که آن را تعریف کرده است (برای سادگی بیشتر) و عبارت معادل آن را نیز بیان کرده (به صورت ریشه یک معادله --> منظورش از RootOf ، ریشه معادله می باشد). در برخی از معادلات، پاسخ پیچیده خواهد بود، مخصوصا که معادله شما دارای تعداد زیادی متغیرهای مختلف می باشد.
متغیر z1 را به صورت ریشه یک معادله تعریف کرده است که در معادله مورد نظر، متغیر معادله را با نام z انتخاب کرده است (نام z را در انتهای پرانتز مربوط به معادله نوشته است).

پاسخ معادله اصلی مورد نظرمان، به صورت زیر می باشد (بر حسب z1) :

معادله با متغیر z تعریف شده است. مقدار z را که نداریم، چون متغیر معادله است، باید معادله حل شود و سپس پاسخ قابل قبول آن را به عنوان z1 در نظر می گیریم (یعنی با حل معادله، ممکن است چند جواب برای z بیابیم که یکی از آنها که قابل قبول است را به عنوان z1 در نظر می گیریم).
